Everything you need to know about March First 3rd Anniversary Weekend

Updated: Feb 27, 2020

We are turning 3 and you are invited to the party! Join us from Feb 28th to March 1st for a weekend bash to remember. This post will have everything you will need to know about the weekend. What are our hours, what's being released, what bands are playing and what other fun things are going on? We have you covered right here!

Hours

Friday 11am - 11pm

Saturday: Noon - Midnight

Sunday Noon - 11pm

Parking

We wish we didn't have to open up this fun post about parking, but as you may know parking can sometimes be a chore when we have our larger events. Luckily Sycamore Twp recently put a sidewalk and crosswalk in for us so you can utilize the huge parking lot over at Kemper Pointe! If our lot is full you can park over there (don't worry it's public parking) and walk over or park along Goldcoast Drive.

Special Releases

Sycamore Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout

This is the first time we have bottled our Sycamore Barrel Aged Imperial Stout! We are in a unique position since we are also home to Sycamore Distilling. We are lucky to be able to empty a whiskey or bourbon and put our beer directly into the same barrel. This BBA Imperial Stout clocks in at 13% ABV and carries rich, roasty chocolate notes backed up by some awesome barrel flavors. It's a shining star in our arsenal at March First and we are super proud of this brew. It will be available starting on Friday Feb 28th at 11am. It will be $8.99 for one bottle and $14.99 for two. No limits.

The Shambic

Lambics are fermented through exposure to wild yeasts and bacteria native to the Zenne Valley in Brussels. Lambic producers are so serious about protecting their style that The High Council for Artisanal Lambic Beers was created to regulate all Lambics coming out of the area.

Many breweries outside of the Zenne Valley call their sours Lambics, Gueuzes or Kriek’s but should they? While they might be true to style or produced in a similar way many people would say those names are reserved for true Lambic styles.

For our anniversary we have produced such a wildly fermented beer. But this beer is not worthy of the Lambic name. We did not produce it traditionally and we aren’t located in Brussels. We are a suburban brewery in Cincinnati who experimented with the process of spontaneous fermentation. We would like to introduce you to what we call “The Shambic.” It’s our first sour fermented beer that rested in barrels for two years. Because of that it is delightfully unpredictable. Grab a bottle Friday starting at 11am for $6.99 or two bottles for $10.99.

Cans!

As you have probably seen over the past few weeks we have recently switched over to canning our delicious brews. So far you will be able to pick up our Craft Lager and Irish Red! Don't worry Astra and Highpoint IPA are coming soon!
